Adirondack Ike Gift Basket

I once heard that mountains against the sky write a signature of the history below.  If this is true then the Adirondack trails mark the paragraphs and the people who walk them tell the story.

My Uncle Ira Gray, known as Adirondack Ike, was one of those people who traveled and deeply loved the mountains close to a century ago. Daily life has changed, but the simplicity, beauty and the ruggedness of the Adirondacks that was a part of yesterday, will be forever a part of tomorrow.
